Monday's Post

I got tired and a little lazy yesterday so here is "Monday's Post".  The picture was taken at the outdoor amphitheater at Kamiak Butte (where we had our family reunion talent show).  Saturday Mom and I drove out to attend the Saturday evening presentations they put on about the local area.  This one was about the "Hidden Gems" of Whitman County.  It was all about neat old buildings, train tracks, trails, waterfalls, and rock formations that not many people know about.  Most of them are only accessible by walking.  It was very interesting.  Just as it was ending the wind and dust blew in and we had a major storm blow through.  It is a little disconcerting as you sit there with dust blowing around and 150' pine trees swaying in the breeze.  On the way home we hit several downpours and more wind.  That storm continued up to and beyond Spokane and put 50,000 customers about of power and took down some major trees.  The same thing happened about ten days ago with the same result.
Mom and I are still going to the exercise center at Gritman Hospital and working out three days a week.  It is a lot of sweat but I feel better already (P.S. Mom's getting pretty buff).
Have a good week!!!
