Here's what we've been up to.
Two weeks ago I went to Washington DC for four days for a conference that I got invited to. It was great fun and I got to see a lot of the sights. When I got home our computer was broken and it has been in and out of the shop until this morning, so I haven't been able to put up any pictures of my trip.
Kelly's family has been here since last week and we spent the weekend with them in Loa, UT at an extended family reunion.
And yes, we are now the proud owners of a chicken coop and four chickens. Three nice looking Rhode Island Red's and one really fat, really ugly white one of unknown parentage (she is the best layer though). Their egg production is improving as they get used to their new surroundings and I just got a nice light brown one out of the coop that was still warm from the chicken sitting on it. So far the chickens are named Bertha and Roger (yes, Roger is a girl), with two still undecided.
