...For this is Halloween!

Here is my wonderful neighbor cleaning up our leaves. He blew them into the street with his backpack blower and then swept them all up!

 The jigsaw traditon lives on!

Halloween here...

Here is an all group picture from the Trunk or Treat.  I'm a little slow.  The kids had fun and we were glad Lacey and kids could come party with us.  And, no Kevin did not sport the skinny jeans.  The scarf was enough.
We carved us some pumpkins.  We are learning that the bigger the holes the better the candles burn.  Braxton is growing up and tried a werewolf (it turned out awesome don't ya think?) Adria-top left, Kanyon Top right, Raya bottom left, Braxton bottom right.
This is the before picture.  We had to do it without Kevin this year.  He was stuck down in Cottonwood Idaho for a few nights doing some work so he "missed out on all the fun."

We read all sorts of ways around here.  This is one of the many ways Raya chooses to read.

Halloween morning I was "that mom" and whipped out this vinyl shirt.  I was hoping the vinyl would have stayed on a little longer but it lasted until after lunch...not bad.

2 pumpkins and 32 C of pureed pumpkin later, my freezer is full for now, until I learn to pressure can.
My awesome curtains.  Lacey helped pick out the fabric and I love them.  I even put grommets in the top because I love how easily they slide.  Note to self: always use even number of grommets so the fabric folds the same way on both ends, and yes I learned that the hard way; but I still LOVE them.  We just finished hanging all the blinds on  all the windows so at night we can have privacy now.  Our house is becoming settled, sort of.  Things are looking good though!

Sometimes we feed the Queen's swans on the way to church. Along with all the other pigeons, ducks, geese, and Kelly's personal favorite, the crazy-footed coots.
This is what Kelly does with all of her free time. That's a baby hat, some gloves, a bandana cowl, and a half-finished hat if you're wondering.
