Are they cute or what?

Here is this year's pictures. Kudos to Les. I don't have the patience to deal with four kids, matching clothing and a Wal-Mart photographer.

Our Sunday afternoon jaunt.

It was a busy week. The roof is almost done. Next comes paint and windows. We really like the dark roof. When the truck pulled in to lift the shingles up on the roof he cracked the section of driveway that had been lifted up by the old maple tree roots. It is broken into about 10 pieces. That project will be pushed up to next year of possible.
Spring/summer if finally here - we think. Today was a beautiful day. The trees are starting to leaf out and the grass is getting green. Yesterday and today was the Renaissance Fair at East City Park. Lots of booths and crazies all over the place. At least it didn't rain.
That's about it.

Kanyon's Birthday

Thanks for the party gifts Martha. Kanyon had a great birthday yesterday. The new Idaho hat was perfect, the safety goggles, hammer, lego racer, workbooks, and geodes were a hit also. We got him a bike, complete with horn which he enjoyed squeaking way too much. And of course, it wouldn't be a Zirker birthday without legos. We spent a few hours building yesterday.

We also enjoyed the Evanson reception. Always a good party. KEvin is gearing up for Father's and Sons this weekend. I'll figure out something to do with the girls and no car. There is still holes where there shouldn't be in the house. Hopefully Kevin will have some spare time to work on the house this week. I'm anxious to get the house up. I have a piano recital in two weeks and then I'm taking at least a month of so I can be a better mom. The kids will be in swimming and it'll be summer so who knows what else we'll find to do.
