We bought a light fixture at Home Depot that had a round base plate and I couldn't figure out how to move it 12 inches to the right and still cover the existing hole. Then we saw a fixture we liked in Tri-State that had a 24" base plate and solved the problem. When we got it home we realized that it was for "pendant" lights not wall mount. We went back and the only one they have left was the display model. We bought it and when we held it up it was about 2" short of covering the hole. This morning our contractor put in a new box and moved it over where we needed it. It is probably not totally to code but it will work.
Here are the colors. Ceiling is white-ish. The walls are mocha-ish.
We have a good plywood sub-floor and today he added the cement board.
We just finished painting. Tomorrow he starts the tub-surround tile. I'm not sure but he may try to get the floor done too. Then on Friday he will grout and then we're on the home stretch. He finished the trim around the window on the outside. It feels great to have all the windows in and trimmed. Stay tuned.
