Kimbre always complains that she never has any news to add, so here goes. She is now an official stylist at her work. A spot finally opened up for her and she had her first day yesterday. She had 6 "clients" and even manged to pull in some nice tips. She is very excited, and I'm sure this will require a whole new wardrobe.
Our latest trip took us to Boise for some family business. Kimbre's grandfather (mother's side) passed away and we went down for the funeral on the 8th. He had been ill for the last 3+ years and it was more/less expected. I got off work at 7am on the 7th, and we hit the road shortly thereafter. We had a nice visit in Boise and I got to meet all of the extended family for a second time since the wedding. Kimbre ended up being the family photographer and had several request for copies of the pictures she took. On the way home we decided to treat ourselves to some good eats, so we stopped at Waffles n' More in McCall. Dad, I'm sorry, but Brian's Burger Den is closed down after 24 years.
Kimbre and I received our new Dell computer just before our Boise trip. It was pretty smooth except for the CD drive. The 8 yr old kid who assembled it in Asia forgot to put the screws in that secure it to the tower. Luckily my tech guys at work had a whole box of old computer screws they let me have. No we still don't pay for Internet, and yes I am writing this at the library. Right now our computer w/o Internet is just a really nice solitaire machine.
Mom, what are the plans for Thanksgiving?? I have to work that night, but a quick day trip may be possible.
