Temple pics

Time to get caught up on a few vacation pics.  Since it is Sunday, I thought I would include a few shots of the temples we visited through out our trip.

St. George Temple- taken by a young LDS couple celebrating their one year anniversary of being sealed at this temple (she was great with child.)
Las Vegas Temple- last time I was here it was I beams and steel.
The herd on the Vegas temple grounds.
Los Angeles Temple- that is one big temple!
How could I not include this shot taken on the the LA temple grounds.
San Diego Temple- the girls thought it looked like a princess castle.
 Redlands Temple
We also visited the Mormon Batallion vistor's center in San Diego.  It was a cool center and even had talking pictures much like Harry Potter.  Here is Ty getting outfitted with his gear.

 All set to go!
Here we are panning for gold afterwards.

Looooooong Day

Our motel was about five minutes from Opryland so we drove over and checked out the Grand Ole Opry this morning.

Wonder what would have happened if this had been posted the last time Abe Lincoln went to the theatre.
This was across the street. We did a quick drive by.

The best part of today was seeing the Arch. Very cool. I didn't realize there's a huge visitor's center below it.
We are currently en route to Salina, Kansas. About two hours to go. The kids are holding up.
Sometimes I have to mess around with the phone lines at people's houses. I finally learned from experience and started taking a picture before I disconnect things.
My gps assured me that this was the best road to take in Ozark, AL
Not sure why they were buying an alarm if they had this.

Fathers & Sons Outing

Braxton looking at the Osprey.  We saw it dive into the water after a fish.  Nope, he missed it.
One of the best parts of the outing.  Standing (sitting) around telling stories.
Good food was had by all.  Breakfast burritos
Braxton beside his Wilderness Survival shelter.  He got rained out about 2 AM.
Popular fishing dock.  Kanyon second from left and Braxton center on the bench.  The Elders Quorum President brought 3 of his 4 daughters.  He paints beards on them before they get there so they will fit in as "sons".
Tyler Skinner and Braxton.  They took a stick, used about 5 feet of my dental floss, and a hook.  They caught 11 fish with it.  Braxton caught eight of them including one trout.  Kanyon caught three on his pole and a pole borrowed from someone else.
Kevin, Braxton, and Kanyon on Moose Creek Reservoir.
Had to throw in one shot to show how pretty it was.  I won't tell you it was 94 degrees when we got there.  It rained that night but Saturday was beautiful and a little cooler.

We are looking forward to lots of family this week.  Travis and Kelly arrive on Wednesday afternoon, Seth, Lacey and boys arrive Wednesday evening.  We will be wall to wall people but should have fun.  Love you all, Mom & Dad.
