What Brant did this week...

After allowing my back to feel better, it was finally time to tackle the roof. It took longer than expected and nearly killed me, but it looks nice. The night picture is me finishing the ridge cap while Ty pre-bends the ridge pieces and Aimee holds the work light. A big thank you to Kevin who helped me for three days. Tearing off two layers of old shingles was no fun. I'll have the city inspect later this week and we will see how we did.
Brant

I have no new pictures

So we'll post some old pictures. Are you ready for snow? Remember what our kids used to look like? I can still see similar features in Adria.
These three have grown a bit.

I helped Brant with his roof during the week. I also worked on a painting during the evenings. Lisa was very patient and supportive. I think that describes it.

I hope I'm #1000

This week was the Latah County Fair. We did the usual Friday evening food thing. I had a large hot dog with onions and sauerkraut. Then an Elephant Ear and then topped it off with a bag of Cotton Candy. After the fair Mom and I went to Jon Mosman's wedding reception and I had a piece of wedding cake. When I got home I asked Mom if we had any meat. Not that I was hungry, I just needed to get the sugar taste out of my mouth.
Tomorrow night I get to stay in the $1000 motel. Gritman Sleep Center. I'm big time apprehensive but every one is pushing me and I guess I don't have much choice. I'll take my favorite teddy bear and blanket. This week I also have to go to the Tri-Cities for a meeting and then over to Pendleton the next day for another meeting.
Today was Ward Conference. Everything went well and I'm glad we're first so we can get it over with for another year.
The weather is cooling off but every Thursday it goes back up to about 90 degrees. It is supposed to do it again this week.
That's about it.
Mom and Dad.
PS Stacey looks great!!!!!
