We did about 6 miles on the river, all in the comfort of a tried and true inner tube bought from Alton's Tires. It was a long day on the water and we had everything from sunny and hot, to clouds and rain during our five hour float.
It was nice to be able to hang out with some of my co-workers in a non-work environment. Sure the two of us stuck out like a couple of squares, because we weren't drinking, but my driving services were much appreciated when the end of the day came.
This picture is the best I could scrounge up from my Google efforts. We didn't trust our luck with taking the digital on the river. The scenery was great and the water was just about right.
Tuesday morning we had a nice breakfast of pancakes and sausage. We then loaded everything up and came back home to reality. The trip wasn't long enough and hopefully we can sneak in another campout before the end of summer (hint to Mom and Dad).
