The lonely Williams House
For the past several weeks, Joe, Sandi, and Scott have been moving everything out of their house and into a storage unit and a new apartment. They still make several trips a day but things are mostly gone and they are living in their new apartment. It is within a couple of blocks of Seth and Lacey. I think they sign the papers this Wednesday and then we will await our new neighbors.
Today was Stake conference. I enjoyed the Priesthood Leadership session, although I don't think I was necessarily supposed to be there. The evening session was very good and today's was also good. They broadcast it through the Internet into the Mountainview building. It went pretty well except that about every 20 minutes the system would freeze while the buffering caught up. Then with about 1/2 hour to go, when Aunt Brenda can up to speak, the whole thing collapsed. They said it was the server in Salt Lake buffering. When it finally came back on, the Stake President was speaking. Oh well, I would assume Aunt Brenda gave a good talk.
It was nice to sit there and watch the stake technicians scramble around and sweat bullets when things went wrong and not have to worry about it. About a year ago they took that responsibility away from the FM Groups and gave it to the individual stakes. I love it.
Mom, Lacey and boys are over at Good Sam visiting Grandpa. I don't know why Seth and I weren't invited. Maybe it was because we were asleep on the couches.
It is a beautiful day with rain forecast for the rest of the week. We are looking forward to visiting with Travis and Kelly in two weeks. Bishop Walker asked us to speak on the 25th but that is the Sunday we will be in Orem. Now we are supposed to speak on the Mother's Day. Out of the frying pan into the fire.
Keep smiling!!!!
