Backyard Update

Wow!! Two Posts in two Days. Not sure what's wrong with me.

Erik emailed me about a week or two ago and asked for some pictures of the new grass in the backyard. I had the Hydroseed done on Aug 12th, so it's been roughly three and a half weeks. It's still a little thin on the edges, but it's coming along.

New Stuff

Recently we have been in the buy new stuff mode. After buying the Explorer we just kept going. This last week we purchased a new refrigerator (same size as the old one but much nicer). The old one lasted over 30 years. We almost had a ceremony for it when I dumped it at the land fill. Today we are going down to Sears to check on a new stove. Then last night I bought a much needed pair of shoes in Lewiston, and several days ago we bought a new MP3 player for the car. It is now loaded with 41 of our favorite albums (actuall some are favorite and some are not - if you get my drift). Does anyone know how to get cassettes on to CD's so you can download them on an MP3 player?? We may need a loan before this buying spree is over.

The weather is nice, kind of cooled off. We are looking forward to the three day weekend.
