Yesterday we took a group of refugees to tour the Utah Capitol building. It was recently restored and upgraded for earthquake-proof-ness. Our tour guide said the building can sway 24 inches each way and not fall down. It was fun to take the refugees and the idea was to show them the building as well as let them see how open our government is. We got to go through the room where the House of Representatives meets while they were working (sort of) and they gave us a Utah history while lesson while we were at it.
