This is the mini house that we are staying in currently. It feels small at times, especially at night when the kids have to sleep in the living room area where the tv, kitchen and computer are so we are banned to the bedroom. Oh well-we can do anything for a short amount of time, right??? At least we have a computer and running water. What more could you need? Oh except this morning I was quietly baking muffins for the first day of school, the children were still asleep and the smoke detector went off. Twice! I kept looking to see if the muffins had spilled over the edge but they hadn't. I don't know what happened. But now the kids were up!
The house is coming along. Talked with the mortgage lady this morning and I asked how things were looking paperwise, and she said after these two things we're good to go. (Famous last words??). The house is still probably 2-3 weeks away but it's looking good. The sheet rock and vinyl siding are being installed today with flooring to come this week.
