Kimbre and I kicked off our summer by sneaking down to Chuck and Brenda's cabin for a quick overnighter this last Thur-Fri. We got there just in time to do some BBQ'ing and watch Gone in 60 Seconds. The next day we enjoyed some sun ( a little too much), aired up some tubes for Aunt Brenda's upcoming seminary trip, and made a Harrison run for ice cream (the shop was closed so we bought drumsticks at the market). We're still the only kids to have out own set of keys to the cabin.
Kimbre and I signed up for our ward's softball team. Coeur d' Alene city has a church league and the Hayden Lake2nd Ward is well represented. We won against Emmanuel Baptist 9 to 8. Kimbre was 2 for 3 and scored the winning run after two close calls at third and home. Who knew you could have so much fun.
