More Easter

A quiet Sunday activity Grandpa saw these and couldn't resist them
Must be a new house policy - Baseball in the living room???
I just couldn't resist adding a few more Easter activities action shots. Everyone has gone home. The house is back to normal until the next Holiday activity.
We wish you could all be here. Plenty of ham, pie, funeral potatoes, and salad to go around.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! I hope everyone is stuffed and never wants to see another piece of candy. We had our Easter party in two parts this year. Yesterday, Les's dad came down and we colored Easter eggs and had our backyard egg hunt. It was a little cold, so the kids hunted with their coats on.
Today was part two of the celebration. Kevin and family came over and we had our Easter dinner. As usual the wives overdid themselves and there was way too much food. It was all delicious.

I Passed!!!!

For those of you that don't know what this is. It is the receipt I got for passing my "Technician" class Ham Radio operators license. Our stake has asked all the bishops to get their license and then they will buy us hand-held radios to be used for emergencies with-in the stake. The person giving the test apologized for scheduling the test on Easter but said that it was scheduled three months ago and he had no idea it was on Easter.
Matt and Kimbre, Seth and Lacey and family, Mom and I had Easter dinner. Then everyone found a bed or the floor and most of them are asleep.
It's about time to fertilize the lawn and start yard work. Shane dug out some grass yesterday and I picked up trash and raked gravel (courtesy of our neighbor) off the lawn. I also pruned our new Autumn Purple Ash. I want it to start out life at the right height so I don't bang my head when I mow under it.
Yes, Travis and Kelly, I know where you are. I envy you the camping trip you are on. Did you find Choco (sp) Canyon?
Thanks for all the Easter pictures and stories. You all look great.

Happy Easter

We tried a new kind of egg dyeing this year. It's called marbelized eggs. It had a cool effect and the clean up was great since we didn't have to use cups. But the kids didn't

seem to enjoy it quite as much as the norm. But we did have clean hands as you can see from the picture. The other is from this morning. Happy Easter!

Rabbits and eggs? But why?

I've always wondered why Easter = rabbits and eggs...it's kind of strange, don't you think? But now, thanks to this video, I know why.

Happy Easter!

Guess Where?

Judging by these two pictures can anyone guess where
we went this weekend? I thought they might bring
back some memories from the old photo albums. Dad,
I think you're out on this one because you already know
were we went.

Sorry this post isn't very Eastery.
