Elder (Chris) Johnson and Family
Zirkers, Boydstons, Richards, and Johnsons
About a month ago Monty Boydston said that the elder that baptised them was going to visit and would like to see them and others that he knew when he was in Moscow. Come to find out it was Elder Johnson. Last evening we had a BBQ at Richards and a very nice visit. This morning they came to church and I had asked him to help me with my high priest lesson. He took the first half and talked about person revelation and being a missionary in Moscow and I took the last half.
It was fun to visit and reminisce about the old days. He just turned 40. He has an optometry practice in a small town (Dallas) west of Salem, Oregon. They have eight children with a ninth on the way. The kids were very nice and very patient as we took pictures after church. Brant, he was wondering if the girl you tracted up with him was still active. Her name was Lori Ray. Do you know? He even wore his Moscow t-shirt last night that we gave him when he left Moscow. His wife said it is one of his favorites.
Uncle Eugene is still here and working on G&G's histories. He will leave on Wednesday. Matt is coming down and will go with Seth, Weston, Koper and I to the Father's and Son's Outing at Moose Creek this weekend. Mom is through school and very happy!!!!!!!!
