Cole Matthew Zirker 5-30-14

Friday, May 30, 2014 we welcomed Cole Matthew Zirker into our family!

 Me at 40 weeks.  Little did I know I would have to wait nearly another week before this little guy came.

 I checked into the hospital at 11:30am to be induced.  At 6:30 that evening he was here!  It took Riley 16 hours to arrive so I was very happy to shave 10 hrs off of labor time.  This pic was taken when he was minutes old. It was love at first sight.

 After our mommy-baby-bonding-time they took him to get weighed, measured and cleaned.  We were all pretty surprised at how big he was!

 The next morning, Matt left to pick up Riley from Kevin and Lisa's house.  They came to the hospital later that evening and Riley was so excited to meet her baby brother!

 The first time Riley got to hold Cole.  She's going to be such a great big sister.

 Sunday morning we were all together on Mommy and Daddy's bed and she wanted to hold him again.

Cute baby.  He's so mellow! All he does is eat and sleep. Besides keeping me up all night, he's been a very easy baby so far.
