Crunch!

Well, as many of you heard we fell victims to a drive-by pumpkin. It was a pretty good sized pumpkin judging by the pieces on the road. It smashed the rear tail light pretty good and dented the rear bumper. The bumper is plastic and hopefully will pop back out. I should have to only replace the tail light.

The other big news was Ty. He fell at school and got a minor concussion. It was pretty scary for awhile but after a prayer and a trip to the doctor's office, everything is good. He missed a half a day of school the next day, but is now back to normal teasing his sisters.

We do not want anymore ouchies for this week! Except for Lacey's :) Good Luck!!!

I wish I had news...

Kelly, sorry I haven't popped yet. I've been sick this past week and so I wasn't able to make it to one of my friend's baby showers yesterday. When I didn't show, they all started wondering and hoping, but no baby. And yes, Uncle Chuck is going to play catcher again. It was good that I didn't have the baby this weekend because Uncle Chuck and Aunt Brenda went to Spokane to shop and babysit Shawn and Annie's kids. I am hoping for sometime this week, but my official due date isn't until next Sunday. If nothing happens by the 16th, I will be induced. I really don't want to be induced but we'll see. Also, if you check out our blog, you'll see what else has been occupying our time. Seth dislocated his ankle on Monday, so now he can't drive. We told Uncle Chuck that when I go into labor, he's going to have to come pick us up on the way to the hospital. Good thing we live in a small town and only two minutes from the hospital. So as long as we leave for the hospital when the contractions are only five minutes apart we should be good. As long as there are no red lights.

In other news, Seth got a new calling today. He was the second counselor in the Elder's Quorum Presidency and today, President Skinner (that being Mark Skinner) called him to be the new Elder's Quorum President. It's exciting.

No news is good news

So they say that no news is good news, right? I guess that means we have a lot of good news. Or, rather, we have nothing exciting to report for the week. But I was ready for a change of scene since every time we open up our internet browser we see Engineer Kent and Brake-woman Martha. Not that we have anything against that...

Oh! This is exciting news: Thanksgiving is a mere TWO WEEKS away! Now wait just a second before you try to correct me. Here's my line of thought. There's this week. Then the week after that. And THEN the NEXT week is Thanksgiving week! I'm very excited, as it means I get to eat turkey and pie. Beautiful, delicious, succulent, scrumptious pie! And then there are only 2 more weeks of school at UVSC and then the semester is over! And then it's Christmas!

Has Lacey had her baby yet? We are wondering when she's going to pop. Is Uncle Chuck going to play catcher again this time? Has a name been decided upon?

T-rav spent the week applying for jobs. Thanks, Kevin, for helping the procrastinator of all procrastinators (he even puts ME to shame) get his applications in on time.

Trav's first karate tournament is this week. He's going to compete in the sparing and forms competitions. If he's lucky, he'll beat up all the other 12 year olds.

And finally, I thought you all might enjoy having a laugh at my expense this evening. Yes, that is me on the left. Yes, I did wear that visor everywhere I went.

Trav says our neighbor is selling a pop-up camping trailer for $1000 and wondering it anyone out there is interested?
