Random Thoughts
Before leaving Denver, Kevin and Lisa decided to take a test drive. Reports are that, "all went well."
They hope to not have the same problem they had in Buffalo, Wyoming last summer.
All kidding aside, we are excited to have them in our neck of the woods and hope the move goes smoothly. We are looking forward to seeing everyone Friday evening in Post Falls. Keep us posted on your progress.
This week was spring break so Mom was home cleaning, reading, ironing, and organizing. Yesterday I had to drive to Dayton, Washington to check on the Mountain Recreation Property (Teancum Timbers) the church owns there. We are going to be putting in 2000' of fence. Mom packed a picnic lunch and we enjoyed the atmosphere. There as a troop of scouts camping there and they were burning a slash pile. A couple of them had very long sticks with marshmallows on the end. Typical scouts.
Thursday evening I got a call to help administer to Steve Berglund in the hospital. It seems he started his four-wheeler (for the first time this year), put it in reverse and it took off. It climbed the wall of this shop and then tipped over on him. When we got to the hospital he was sitting up in bed with blood oozing out from under the gauze on this face. He had bandages here and there with road rash on his face, hands, and arms. He also has four broken ribs. They are broken in the back so are not as painful as in the front of your chest (so I hear). Naturally, it is just in time for spring work.
Out of the box and ready to go (notice the reminder to add oil). Not a speck of dirt or grass.
Have a good week, and good luck on the move.
