Dad Update

Braxton, Matt and I just got back from visiting Dad and Mom at the hospital. The diuretics are taking good effect and other health indicators are stable. The cardiologist has scheduled a coronary catheterization (inject dye in the heart and watch how it flows through the system) for tomorrow morning. This is the procedure that Mom and Dad have anticipated, although with some trepidation. It should inform them of future treatments: stint, open heart surgery, and/or medications.
Dad was feeling some anxiety so Matt and I gave him a blessing. Bishop Skinner was also there (with Tiffany) and so he helped with the blessing.
Dad's had a good nursing staff. One shared a comforting scripture from Psalms with Dad yesterday. Keep Dad and Mom in your prayers.
