The winter of "68" in Warden
I'm sitting here tonight, having just returned from the church where I turned the water on in the handi-cap restroom for the 4th time so it won't freeze. Several days ago it was 5 below and the last couple of nights it has just been down around 10 above. In the day time it gets to a whopping 15 to 18 degrees. They say tomorrow it may even break 30 degrees. I've had enough.So far we froze and broke a small copper pipe in the Grangeville building that feeds the trap primers (gives small squirts of water occasionally to keep the floor traps full of water so the sewer gasses don't come up into the building) so it was no big deal. We also froze the cold water to the handi-cap restroom in Potlatch when someone turned the heater off in that restroom. Luckily when we turned the heat back on it unthawed with no broken pipe.
So far so good but I am ready for warmer weather.
How is everyone else doing?
