What Happened?

Hey Brant,
What happened to those Rockies? I was all excited about a new team in the world series and the next thing I know the other guys are celebrating. Well, maybe next year!!!!

My $0.02 on the Trip

Kimbre and I made our return pilgrimage to Utah after a 2 year hiatus. We ate at all of our favorite places, as previously mentioned. I talked with Jon Quist, my old boss, and spent a lot of time driving around campus and Provo saying things like "that's new", "that's not", and "is traffic always this bad?"

Saturday morning Travis, Brad, Dad Clark, and Travis' neighbor Jason, and I went up Squaw Peak to do some shootin'. It was my first time out with my new (to me) Ruger Mini-14, and the first time for some others on the AR-15. We had some fun, and I put on quite the display of pistol, rifle, and shotgun handling skills. Girls only want guys with skills.

Saturday night we had a get together at Travis and Kelly's place, and true to Zirker form we tried to pack as many people into the smallest room possible. The night was going well until someone made his nephew cry.

On Sunday, Kimbre and I made it back safe and sound. We decided to come home via I-15 through Montana, then onto I-90 to Coeur d' Alene. It took us 10 hours on the dot. Of course all state and local speed laws were followed.

Thanks to all who put us up for the night(s).
