Alien Crop Circles

You've heard of alien space ships landing and leaving mysterious "crop circles" haven't you?  Well, we have them here in north Idaho too.  I have watched this little guy develop over the years and this year it is especially nice and uniform.  It is in a hay field on the way up the Clearwater River to Orofino.
We have thoroughly enjoyed the last couple of weeks of late summer.  The weather has been fantastic, the colors have been beautiful, and we hate to see it come to an end.  It is supposed to get colder starting next week.
Lacey and boys drove up to visit the Post Falls families this morning.  They will stay overnight and then we are driving up tomorrow to watch their Primary Program.  It is our stake conference so we will just slip away and no one will be the wiser.
Hope you are all ready for Halloween. Our ward is having a Trunk-or-Treat that night at the church and then we will hurry home to feed the little Trick-or-Treaters that come up the street.  Hope the weather isn't too cold.
Have a good week and don't eat too much candy.

Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend my parents came to visit and we went to a pumpkin patch! It was Riley's and my first time and it didn't disappoint.
The pumpkins and gourds were varied and fun to pick out!

There was a free hayride and free corn maze.  Although it seemed more like a corn alley. :) It was tons of fun and I was so happy we could have this  first-time experience with my Mom and Dad!
