We're Home!!

Notice we are all parking on a "side hill'. The street is about a foot higher that the driveway.

We got home about 1:30pm today (Monday). All went well. We had good roads all the way to Boise (expect when I closed my eyes for a couple of seconds and Mom yelled at me). This morning it was snowing a little and slick as we left Boise but the road turned dry at that golf course just north of Boise and by the time we were half way up the river the sun was shining and the sky was blue. There was a little packed snow and ice out of McCall and then all across the prairie from White Bird to Winchester but we sailed right through. It was -16 degrees up in those high valleys.

The picture is to show that we really are home.

We have received several comments and we had some good discussions while at Travis and Kelly's about the reunion. I'll write about it later, right now I think it is time for a "catch up" nap. Mom is already asleep.

Radio Flyer

Weston got a new scooter last night and loves to pose on it. Seth and I decided that the first child has nothing to complain about, he gets everything new!

Not much is going on up here. Since Dad is gone I'll give the weekly weather report. It snowed last night. This past week we had snow and lightning at the same time. I didn't know that could happen. Mom had a snow day, lucky.

Concerning the family reunion, I am trying to find a good photographer in the Provo area. I was wondering if you all have any thoughts about color schemes? I know... I have too much time on my hands. But, I was thinking it might be nice to branch out from the Zirker blue and Zirker gray. Maybe brown and turquoise (it's supposed to be flattering to all) or shades thereof? Or, if we have too, navy blue and maybe a kelly green to mix it up a bit?

Also, what about having a theme? My roommate had a reunion this past summer and their theme was "Fit to be a Heaton" and they planned everything around that. Any thoughts? Maybe Kevin could design a shirt to match the theme???
