| Braxton turned 12 and was ordained to the office of a Deacon on Sunday. Mom and Dad, Lacey, Seth and the boys all came up to be apart of the festivities. After church we enjoyed dinner and visiting, but we didn't quite find time to 'read' and rest our eye lids. |
The girls participated in Cross country through school. They met twice a week after school for 1/2 hour, usually played some fun games and then ran for the last 15 minutes. This was from their final "district" track meet. Imagine lots of little kids all trying to run at the same time, and funnel through a small opening. I'm surprised no one got hurt.
Here's Adria crossing the line. She was a good trooper, does not really enjoy running but did it mostly because she loves her teacher who was a coach.
Raya also crossing the line. She has the potential to be a good runner if we just work on her form a bit.
Finally we have been enjoying the fall colors around here, this picture does not really do it justice. The weather has been grand!
