Just a little of what we have to put up with here in the wilds of Idaho.
It has been a hot week. Temps in the 90's. We have been kind of spoiled all spring and now it is finally summer. We have the two estimates for the new furnace and air conditioning and will give the go-ahead tomorrow. The company from Pullman will do the work. They do all my work for the church buildings and I like their product (Carrier) and they are good to work with. It will take about two weeks to get everything here and installed.
I got food poisoning from Wendy's on Tuesday night. I missed about a day and 1/2 of work. It was kind of nasty. Last night Mom and I went out to Kamiak Butte for their evening program. They have different people come in and talk about different subjects. Last night Jim Cash talked about the geology of this area. It was very interesting and we enjoyed the slides and presentation. Mr. Leonard is in charge of the programs so I think he brings in his old teaching friends. We may go back a few more times during the summer. It is a nice atmosphere and the topics are interesting. We got home about 11:00 pm.
Did you guys in Denver get my e-mail about the home improvement projects for this summer. If you can add any suggestions and estimated costs, that would be appreciated.

I love the red rock formations along the foothills of the Front Range. I love the little girl in the foreground of the picture too.
What does the rock formation behind the boys look like to you? They had their own suggestion, which I'll post later.
Adria complained of stomach aches until finally Dad picked her up and carried her. After that she was all songs and glee.
