Weaning

Visited Dad today. They are slowly weaning him off the medicine that causes his heart to pump harder. At the same time they are decreasing the diuretic. His kidneys are functioning well, a good sign. His left leg, the one with the infection, is slowly improving. Dad is still weak and tired. He'll be in the hospital at least a few more days. Test, medications and evaluations will continue for awhile. The situation and doctors' recommendations change daily.
