They Are Finally In!!!!!

Well, here it is.  Mom and I drove up to Post Falls yesterday to meet with her retirement people to check on her information.  Afterwards we drove to see Kevin and Lisa's new home.  Matt and Riley came over later (Kimbre was sick).  We toured the house, wandered around outside, and had a great dinner. Things were remarkably organized for only moving in 48 hours earlier.

One of my favorite parts.  This picture was taken out the front door.  The train (fairly busy track from Spokane to Canada) is about 1/2 mile away and the church is about a mile, mountains about 3-4 miles.

This shows the back yard (the dirt area).  The border between the street and the sidewalk was landscaped by the  builder.  There are no street drains/manholes.  All runoff water is channeled back into the catch basins and back into the ground.

Looking southeast from Kevin's yard toward Matt and Kimbre's place (about a mile I think).  It is the row of houses in the center just below the ridge of mountains.

The brain trust assembling the new chairs for he dining room set.  We stayed through the chairs, bench and then left after they unboxed the table.  It looked like a lot of work to me.  Mom wanted to get home before the deer came out. 

The girls, Raya, Riley, and Adria were totally disinterested in the whole process.

PS - the new pickup drives like a dream, smells great, rides comfortable, and got 20 mpg.
