Well, here I sit at my computer while Mom as at church. I think this is the first time I've stayed home in years. About 2 weeks ago I got the "stuff" everyone else has had. It consists of a head full of congestion, sore throat, and general orneriness. After about 10 days that seemed to clear up and Friday night I got the chest congestion and coughing. It always comes on so fast that by Saturday morning I called Uncle Chuck who called in a prescription for me. I started it as soon as I picked it up and if I use my imagination I think the cough is starting to subside. Anyway, it's kind of lonesome here at home.
Mom and I plan to go to Coeur d'Alene tomorrow to wander around and then have lunch with Kimbre and Matt. Mom made an appointment with Kimbre for a hair cut. I was going to buy my birthday present up there but neither Matt nor I could find the model I wanted locally. I ordered it yesterday from Tri-State and it should arrive late next week.
This week the Jazz Festival starts. They are using all four LDS builings here in Moscow. Most of the time they treat them better than our own members. Since it is Festival time that means it is snow time. We have 4-5 inches on the ground and it seems to snow a little every night. About the middle of the festival it is supposed to get to 2 degrees at night. It wouldn't be festival without rain, snow, cold, etc..
Have a good week.
