Computer broke again, so we're still without. Chickens are doing well. The fat one is still ugly and has started laying again after being sick. School starts up in a week and a half. Hoping to get another camping trip or two in before the snow flies.

Getting Excited About Home Improvement Projects!

I'll be glad when the guys are here and the action has started. Right now I go to sleep thinking about the angle of the hand rail on the deck and wake up hoping the skid steer arrives on time. I'll be glad to get a good nights sleep one of these days. I just e-mailed the guys in Denver about what tools I need to reserve since they are flying and can't bring all their stuff (check your e-mail).
Mom came down to Lewiston on Thursday and I took a loooong noon to check on some things. We added the exterior window trim and some black powder-coated balusters for the front deck (they probably won't be here in time), we found the cap stones we like (we are going to use the diamond cap ones). Mom thought they would look nice. This week I will double check on things and line up the utilities marking, inspections, and machinery arrival.
Seth, Lacey and boys arrived home yesterday. We had a dinner and refreshments for Weston's birthday. We're glad to have them back.
We will be attending the Spokane Temple on Thursday with Sister Vinson. She got her recommend from the Bishop and Stake President today. So far so good.
Saturday Mom will go to the cannery to process our food order and I will meet Brant, Erik, and Kevin and the airport. We'll scope things out in the afternoon and maybe get a few things started (don't want to work you to death right off the plane).
The weather is supposed to be HOT for the first part of the week and then might even be fairly pleasant next week. Keep saying those prayers.
Enjoy the last days of summer, they're fading fast.
Look for some fun pictures over the next two weeks.

Water Balloon Time Bomb

Yesterday we celebrated Kori's birthday, and we had one extra balloon, and here's what I did with it.
Sorry about the filming errors.
