We just got back from Palouse Falls. It was a beautiful day and we had a nice ride. We got there early (10:30am) before it got too crowded and enjoyed the sights. As we returned to the car to get our picnic lunch, there stood a man, his wife, and the park ranger, looking at our car. On the ground lay what was left of our left turn/brake light assembly. He was trying to park close and got a little too close. We swapped info, gave the Park Ranger our info, shook hands and went our merry ways. I'll call our insurance company tomorrow and see what they want to do. With an old car, I always worry that they will want to total it. Hopefully it is worth more than the damages. We'll see what happens.
PS - I had the camera in my hand when I walked up. It's nice to have a photo record of the incident.
