Fun With Nuns

Early Saturday morning, we got called to a convent for a prowler who had entered into the residence halls. While enroute we received updates stating he was possibly still inside the building. When we arrived i strapped on my new Ar-15 and myself and three other deputies set about doing a search of the building and premises. We were sneaking around all creepy crawly trying to be all tactical and we made contact with one of the head sisters. Next thing we know she takes off in full stride towards one of the other buildings telling us where the man was last seen. We asked her nicely to slow down, point us in the right direction, and let us handle it, but you just don't tell nuns what to do like that. She got a few steps ahead of us as we approached the residence hall and I may have said the following line to her, "Slow down Sweetheart." I didn't think much of it at the time, but one of the other deputies with me thought it was quite funny. Imagine the sight of a 6'-05" deputy, with a stocking hat pulled down low, and an Ar-15 slung across his chest storming through the convent, calling all of the nuns sweetheart. We never did find the prowler, but if he comes back I have no doubt the head sister could handle him without our help.
