Anybody recognize this 5-plex? Yes, ours was the apartment in the upper left of the two story part. The balcony is the one Brant and Erik raised and lowered bicycle and tricycle parts from. The dark door to the far left is where we had a storage closet and where Mom did the washing and drying. The computer says the address is: 1010 2nd Ave, Zillah, Washington.
Let me tell you how I found it. One of my friends emailed me a site where you type in your address and a picture of your street/house comes up. You can move the camera up and down the street to get better shots of the your house. I kind of remembered where this building was so I went to Google Earth and zeroed in on the area. I knew the street angled of and went behind the apartments. I found what I thought was the building and got the street name. Then I went to this new site and put the little "man" in the approximate area and started turning him around (the camera follows him) and "corn in Egypt" there it was. Pretty lucky, eh?
The picture of our house on Lund Lane shows the old color so it must have been taken several years ago. Have fun looking up your houses.
